A Community That Suffers Together

The church should be the safest place in the world to be honest, and yet it's often where we're most tempted to wear a mask. Psalm 32 shows us why only the gospel breaks that open: when God has already declared you righteous in Christ, you no longer need to perform righteousness. This creates a community that can be fully honest about sin and struggle together, because nobody here is earning anything.
