What Child is This?

A famous Christmas carol asks, “What child is this, who, laid to rest, On Mary’s lap is sleeping? Whom angels greet with anthems sweet, While shepherds watch are keeping?” In today’s passage, Simeon and Anna answer those questions. But the question is not just asked of them. When presented with the reality of Christ’s birth, you and I must answer the question, “What child is this?”
